Unity Game Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with development teams and product managers to translate game concepts into a high-quality, scalable Unity mobile game.
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of game features, focusing on performance, efficiency, and engaging gameplay experiences.
• Integrate art, animation, and audio assets into the game engine, creating a polished user experience.
• Ensure the game runs smoothly across platforms by optimizing for memory usage, frame rate, and overall performance.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all technical, artistic, and functional constraints are met during development.
• Stay current with the latest trends and advancements in game development, Unity features, and optimization techniques.

About You:

• Experience: 2-3 years of hands-on experience in Unity development, ideally with shipped titles or projects that demonstrate your skills in game design and performance optimization.
• Programming Skills: Expertise in C# and a deep understanding of Unity’s architecture, APIs, and tools.
• Game Development: Strong knowledge of game development best practices, including asset management, UI/UX design, and gameplay mechanics.
• Performance: Proven track record of optimizing games for performance across multiple platforms (PC, mobile, console) while maintaining visual fidelity.
• Problem-Solving: Experience in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving performance issues such as memory leaks, frame rate drops, and rendering bugs.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in cross-disciplinary teams (designers, artists, product managers).
• Bonus Points:
• Experience in creating 2D mobile games.
• Knowledge of using/integrating 2D animations from Spine software.
